Naomi Klein

Naomi Klein is a journalist, author, filmmaker and activist. Born in Montréal, she is the daughter of Bonnie Sherr Klein, director of the feminist anti-pornography documentary, Not a Love Story. Klein began writing for The Varsity while studying at University of Toronto. She left university to work at The Globe and Mail and This Magazine. Klein's first book, No Logo: Taking Aim at the Brand Bullies (1999)was an international sensation and she quickly gained a reputation for her astute political analyses and fearless critique of corporate globalization. She is the award-winning author of numerous books and articles and a key participant in leading-edge social and political initiatives, including the LEAP Manifesto: A Call for a Canada Based on Caring for the Earth and One Another. Klein's most recent book is No Is Not Enough: Resisting Trump's Shock Politics and Winning the World We Need (2017).
